New crypto fund: iZUMi Finance and CIMG invest $20 million!

The Upstarts Fund, a newly launched on-chain crypto fund, was launched by iZUMi Finance and CIMG Inc., a Nasdaq-listed company. In a joint initiative, the two companies are investing $20 million in the fund to enable companies to invest in digital assets. This takes place within a regulated and transparent framework, such as dailyhodl.com reported.

The Upstarts Fund can be divided into three main components. The first component is the DeFi Liquidity Vault, which aims to generate sustainable on-chain returns and deepen liquidity in targeted ecosystems. This initiative is also intended to accelerate the adoption of DeFi applications. The fund also offers listed token investments that provide institutional access to high-quality digital asset opportunities. A third component includes tokenized stock trading services that promote the adoption of on-chain stocks and help strengthen liquidity.

Promoting decentralized asset tokenization

A key goal of the fund is to promote decentralized asset tokenization (DAT), starting with the first yield-bearing BTC DAT, which is being developed in collaboration between CIMG and iZUMi Finance. The participation of a listed company in the DeFi Liquidity Vault is also seen as a signal of strong compliance and operational transparency. The fund offers multiple benefits including regulatory support, brand and global visibility, and sustainable ecosystem growth with returns.

Through the listed token investments, participating protocols gain access to US capital market participants, strengthening innovation in the digital asset space. The partnership between iZUMi Finance and CIMG aims to drive compliant innovation. According to Jimmy Yin, CEO of iZUMi Finance, the fund acts as a bridge between traditional capital and the digital asset ecosystem.

Strategic diversification

CIMG CEO Alice Wang describes the fund as a strategic move to diversify treasury assets. The Upstarts Fund is marketed as a compliant and efficient way for publicly traded companies to transform static reserves into productive digital asset portfolios. The two companies see the creation of this fund not only as an opportunity for economic growth, but also as a way to increase transparency and regulatory standards in the digital assets sector.
