Revolution in healthcare: Samsung and Galeon start AI partnership!

Samsung has launched an important partnership with Galeon to integrate AI-supported ultrasound systems into a decentralized web3 network for medical records. This initiative will revolutionize access to state -of -the -art ultrasound examinations and at the same time ensure the confidentiality of the patient data.

Galons Electronic Health System (Ehr) is already in use in 18 European hospitals, including Rouen, Caen, Toulon and Sud Francilia in France. In total, they serve over 10,000 nurses per month. This cooperation aims to enable doctors to have real-time access to AI improved ultrasound examinations and at the same time to maximize data security.

Innovative data security technologies

Galeon uses a groundbreaking technology called Blockchain Swarm Learning (BSL), which makes it possible to keep patient data privately and safely. This technology allows hospitals to train AI models on encrypted and anonymized data without having to remove the sensitive data from the facilities. Only the processes of the algorithms are recorded on a public blockchain to ensure traceability, while the patient data remain confidential.

The focus was initially on improving health data management and records, which was announced in 2022. Galons platform strives to create a decentralized research system in which both patients and health service providers can actively participate in medical innovations.

Decentralized financing and community participation

Another notable aspect of the Galeon initiative is the launch of a native token as well as the Atlantis platform, which allows a community of over 100,000 members to fund and vote on medical research projects. This structure forms a decentralized healthcare autonomous organization (DAO) that aims to address the problem of siled medical records. Secure real-time updates across different institutions will make medical data more comprehensive and accessible in the future.

In addition to this partnership, there are also other groundbreaking initiatives in the healthcare blockchain space. The Aptos Foundation recently invested in the Universal Health Token to advance a proof-of-health protocol. These developments form part of a larger trend in which blockchain technology is being used to improve efficiency and security in the healthcare sector.
