Ferrari starts digital revolution: Exclusive tokens for Hyperclub members!

Ferrari plans to launch a digital token designed exclusively for 100 members of the newly founded Hyperclub. This token, which will be called “Token Ferrari 499P,” will allow members to trade with each other, participate in racing model auctions, and gain access to special events related to endurance racing. The token is scheduled to launch at the start of the World Endurance Championship season in 2027, said Crypto News.

Enrico Galliera, Ferrari's Chief Marketing and Commercial Officer, emphasizes that this initiative aims to strengthen loyalty among the company's top customers. To advance the development of the token, Ferrari has partnered with Italian fintech company Conio. Interestingly, Ferrari will begin accepting cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and USDC for vehicle purchases in the US as early as 2023, which was expanded to European markets in 2024.

Expanding Cryptocurrency Acceptance

Through these moves, Ferrari shows how serious the company is about integrating cryptocurrencies. Members of the hyperclub can not only trade innovatively with the new token, but also benefit from a variety of new opportunities. Davide Rallo, Chief Fintech Strategist at Conio, describes the development potential as “enormous”. Conio is also applying for a license under the European Union's new crypto regulations to clarify the legal framework for the token.

Ferrari joins a growing list of car manufacturers that are showing openness to digital currencies. Volkswagen Group Singapore also began accepting Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT and USDC for vehicle purchases and services in August 2025, with a daily transaction limit of SGD 4,500. Additionally, Toyota, BYD and Yamaha launched USDT payments in Bolivia in September 2025, underscoring the increasing adoption of cryptocurrencies in the automotive industry.

Market development and future outlook

The development of the Ferrari token comes against the backdrop of a significant increase in the price of Bitcoin, which has risen by 60% over the past year. This was supported by several positive developments in the USA. Still, the Ferrari token faces a long-term approval process before hitting the market in 2027 during the company's crucial World Endurance Championship season. Despite the challenges and regulations, Ferrari clearly shows that it sees the future of cryptocurrencies as part of its business policy.
