Former US President of FTX announces what his relationship with SBF has destroyed
Brett Harrison, who resigned from his role as President of the US branch of FTX just a few weeks before the implosion, finally broke the silence and brought a little more light into his relationship with Sbf.
he added that neither he nor one of the other FTX US managers knew about the fraud that SBF and his closest partners had committed on the Bahamas.
It only took a few months
Harrison explained that he knew Sam Bankman-Fried from his time in Jane Street and had "good memories" of him. Harrison described SBF as a "conscientious junior dealer" and as a "sensitive and intellectually curious person who took care of animals".
SBF asked him to switch to FTX Us as President in March 2021, and the first few months were "wonderful". He said he was working on the team's expansion and was "largely independent of Sam".
six months after entering the company began to change things because he wanted to establish FTX Us as a separate brand and company from ftx.com. SBF, however, disagreed and did not react well when someone interviewed him.
16/49 I saw his total uncertainty and inimitableness in this early conflict when his decisions were questioned, his viciousness and the inconsistency of his temperament. I realized that he was not the one I remembered.

The clashes between the two continued in the following months, and Harrison found that Bankman-Fried often reacted with "dysregulated hostility, sometimes with gas lighting and manipulation". This prompted Harrison to submit a formal, written complaint about the organizational problems he saw in the company. But that wasn't going well either.
29/49 in response to me was threatened in Sam's name that I would be fired and that Sam would destroy my professional reputation. I was instructed to formally withdraw what I had written and to deliver an apology to Sam that had been designed for me.

leave and start a new crypto business
After this message from SBF and his team, Harrison said that he had made his decision to leave the organization, which took a few months to organize it. He finally left the stock exchange in September 2022, just a few weeks before the SBF-led Empire collapsed.
According to reports, the former FTX US President is preparing to found a crypto software company that enables dealers to write different algorithms for their strategies.Anthony Scaramucci from Skybridge Capital, who recently said he wanted to buy the share of the company back, which he had sold to FTX last year, commented under Harrison threats to invest in his new start-up.
"Anthony is a real mentor and friend for me since I joined the crypto industry two years ago. I feel honored to have him as an investment partner and know that his guidance will be invaluable when I start this new chapter." - Harrison told Bloomberg.
