Doj asks Sam Bankman-Fried victims to report-Featured
The US Justice Ministry (DOJ) asked the victims of the fraud of the former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) to report. The former FTX manager was accused of "cheating customers of ftx.com, investors from ftx.com and Alameda Research lender," said the Ministry of Justice.

The US Justice Ministry (DOJ) contacted the victims of Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF )'s victims on Friday, declared their rights and asked to report. Bankman-Fried was a co-founder of FTX and acted at the crypto exchange as CEO bankruptcy registered in November last year.
The doj wrote:
If you believe that the victim of a fraud by Samuel Bankman-Fried, alias "SBF", has become, please contact the coordinator for victims/witnesses to the United States public prosecutor ... to receive support in the review of whether you are a victim in this case.
The Ministry of Justice said that on December 13, 2022 "an indictment was disposed of with eight indications top up with fraudulent customers from ftx.com and Alameda Research lenders. “
The Doj explained: "Bankman-Fried becomes a conspiracy for the inspection of transfer fraud, conspiracy for the inspection of goods fraud, conspiracy for the inspection of securities fraud, conspiracy for inspection of money laundering and conspiracy to fraud the United States and violation of the campaign financing laws."
Prosecutors are obliged under the federal law to contact possible victims of crimes in order to inform them about their rights.
In court files that were submitted on Friday, however, federal prosecutors in Manhattan asked the US district judge Lewis A. Kaplan, who was assigned to the SBF case to use permission to use a Website to notify the victims instead of contacting each one individually. They claimed that the collapsed crypto exchange FTX could owe more than one million people money, which made it "unenforceable" to contact every person.
Bankman-Fried, who is currently in the house of his parents with a 250-billion dollar bond, has advocated not guilty for allegations of fraud. In the meantime, the doj has moved . Value of around $ 460 million associated with the former FTX boss.
