Do Kwon has redeemed 10,000 BTC at a Swiss bank, claims the SEC
Shortly after Do Kwon and Terraform Labs had been legally persecuted, the US stock exchange supervisory authority claimed that the former had paid 10,000 Bitcoin after his idea collapsed.
KWON has been on the run since the crash last year and is currently reporting in Serbia.
- As reported by Bloomberg, the recent allegations of the US value paper supervision indicate that Kwon used a Swiss bank that was not mentioned by name between "June 2022 and the date of this complaint" to collect BTC worth more than $ 100 million.
- The agency found that over 10,000 BTC was transferred from a central stock exchange to a cold wallet, where they remained shortly after the collapse of the Terra ecosystem.
- The Bitcoin richness began to move in May last year. They were sent to a bank based in Switzerland before they were converted into cash.
- Cryptopotato previously reported that the SEC Kwon and Terraform Labs officially sued because they have operated a cryptocurrency system that investors cheated on dollars with billions of dollars.
- Kwon's whereabouts is unknown, although he has repeatedly promised to reveal his hiding place. The latest reports on this topic claim that the TFL co-founder is in Serbia, while South Korean prosecutors said:
"We continue to strive to find Kwon, and it is difficult to confirm anything in connection with the examination at the present time."
