Justin Hulog, Chief Studio Officer at Immutable Games, said that the Mineloader team had the same vision of the future of web3 gaming and added:
"We are confident that we will be able to offer an astonishing mobile gaming experience that Guild of Guardians and the gaming community earn."
The move signals a shift from Web2 to Web3 for the game franchise. Mineloader is the web2 development partner of Guild of Guardians and will "improve the central gameplay loop and the graphic of the game as well as new content".
The company will also help with various elements of in-game economy, especially with web2-focused aspects. However, web3 components are largely powered by immutable, which is already an industry leader in this area.
