After El Salvador Bitcoin had introduced the legal means of payment, a survey was carried out to determine whether US growth supports or reject a similar step in the USA. Of the 4,912 adults who took part, 61 % were not against.

YouGov America Inc. carried out a survey on Thursday to determine whether consumers for or against the introduction of Bitcoin are the legal means of payment in the USA. A total of 4,912 adults in the country took part in the survey. Yougov is an international research data and analysis group with headquarters in London.
The survey participants were asked: "Would they support or reject the United States to make Bitcoin a legal currency? This would mean that companies would accept Bitcoin in exchange for goods and services, in addition to the US dollar."
According to the results, 11 % said that they “support” and 16 % said that they “rather support”. In the meantime, 11 % said that they were "rather against it", 28 % said that they were "strong against" and 34 % said they "don't know".
Among the male respondents, the number of people who support Bitcoin as a legal means of payment increases to 15% and 17% that they rather support this. Only 7 % of the female respondents support approval and 14 % approval.
The top age groups who support btc as legal means of payment in the USA are 25-34 (20%) and 35-44 (19%). Meanwhile, 26% of 18 to 24 year olds and 24% of 25 to 34 year olds support something.
