The animated sitcom has broadcast more than 300 episodes in the past 24 years and in recent times Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, Eric Cartman and Kenny McCormick have dealt with an interesting world. In the latest episode entitled "Post Covid", Stan, who is now an online whiskey consultant, is told by Kyle that Kenny has died.
When Stan decides to go to Kenny's funeral, he spends his stay in the Super 12 Motel Plus and is greeted by an employee who explains that Stan has booked one of the Mach 10 Super Plus rooms in the motel. "Now of course we only take Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies," says the motelanian says to Stan . "Because ... you know-it is the future-we all decided that centralized banking is manipulated, so we trust more on ponzi systems that fly at night," added the Super 12 Motel Plus employee. "Yes, I know," sighs Stan and gives the employee a card with the Bitcoin logo and a QR code.
