Cuy Sheffield, visa boss for crypto, spoke in an interview with NDTV published on Monday about the efforts of the payment giant for digital assets.

"In the case of visas, the scope and scope of our work in the field of crypto grown dramatically," he began. "The number of people who work on Visa in any way in any way is now in the hundred-only one handful of employees. And we have more than doubled our number of partnerships with crypto platforms in the past 18 months-up to 60 partnerships today." Sheffield explained:

We have teamed up with more than 60 of the leading crypto platforms such as FTX, Blockfi, Crypto.com, Coinbase and Binance to start card programs that make consumers exchange and output digital currencies at 80 million dealer locations worldwide.

"Crypto-linked cards make it easy for consumers to exchange and output digital currencies without having to accept cafes, cleaning or grocery stores crypto directly at the cash register," he continued. "All conversions from crypto to fiat take place immediately behind the scenes. In the shop or online it is as easy as a normal visa transaction."

The manager was asked whether Visa is planning to introduce a crypto consulting service in India. The company announced the start of its crypto advisory services in early December.

"Visa aims to offer customers worldwide our crypto consulting services, wherever there is interest, and at the moment we offer services in markets in which the regulations allow such transactions," he replied.

The Visa boss of Krypto said:

Ultimately, we would like to serve as a bridge that combines the crypto ecosystem with our global network of 80 million dealer locations and more than 15,000 financial institutions.

"We have built up a lot of dynamics in this area and will continue to support the crypto ecosystem in different ways," he concluded.
