US value paper supervisory authority accepts applications for Bitcoin-Spot ETFs from Blackrock, Vaneck, Wisdomtree, and Galaxy Digital

The US WERTALPATORCHAUCHENTE (SEC) accepted applications for Bitcoin Spot ETFs from Blackrock, Vaneck, Wisdomtree and Galaxy Digital on July 14, 2023. The applications from ARK Investment, Bitwise and Invalco were also accepted the day before.

Although the applications of the giants have not yet been approved, acceptance by the SEC represents an important step towards approval. The authority will now begin the review process for the applications.

The way in which the SEC rates the applications remains to be seen. However, an approval of the ETFs could have a strong impact on the Bitcoin price, as this would enable institutional investors to start the BTC market.

Surprisingly, the Bitcoin course did not respond positively to this news. Just a few hours after the SEC announced, the price again fell to the $ 30,000 mark.
