Ubisoft Executive thinks that players reject NFTs because they do not understand the advantages -

Nicolas Pouard, a senior employee at Ubisoft, one of the leading video play companies in the entertainment world, has expressed his opinion on the counter -reactions of players regarding the recording of NFTS in traditional franchises. The VP of the Strategic Innovations Lab from Ubisoft said that this reaction to a lack of awareness could be attributed to the advantages that could bring the inclusion of non -fungal tokens (NFTS) for the industry.

Players don't understand when it comes to NFTS

A senior employee of Ubisoft, one of the leading traditional entertainment and video play companies, has expressed his opinion on the cold shoulder that fans and players showed the NFTs. In conversation with Finder , Nicolas Pouard, who is responsible for blockchain developments in the company, explained the players that still do not understand the advantages that these elements could bring them. Pouard explained:

I think gamers don't understand what a digital secondary market can bring them. At the moment, due to the current situation and context of NFTS, the players really believe that it is first of all destroying the planet and secondly, it is only a tool for speculation.

he further explained that one of the goals of the NFT inclusion is to enable players the real property of game content and sell them after they have finished a game. "It's really advantageous. But they don't understand it for the time being," he noted.

Ubisoft goes forward despite resistance

The statements of Pouard show that Ubisoft, although the company is very aware of the opinion of the gaming community on this topic, is very aware of developing the gambling experiences that integrate the NFT elements.

ubisoft is one of the traditional game companies that have been experimenting with blockchain and NFT issues for some time. It is supposed to be the first company of its kind Build a separate NFT market place called quartz. Ubisoft already offers NFT elements for some of its franchises via Quartz-built on the TEZOS network.

But Ubisoft is not the only big gaming company that slowly brings NFTs into its world. Yosuke Matsuda, President of Square Enix, announced NFTS and Play-to-Eearn economies for the new gaming generation in a New Year's letter. Konami also recently attracted $ 160,000 in an NFT auction for the 35th anniversary of Castlevania, one of his most successful franchises.
