Bitcoin closed its best month in over a year in January, although in the end it slipped below $ 23,000. On February 1, the focus was on the US Federal Reserve FED, which should complete its first FOMC meeting of the year and raise the key interest rates by 25 basis points.

This is exactly what happened on Wednesday, since the courses in the United States are now up to 4.75. Although this did not lead to immediate price fluctuations, BTC later went up and jumped to $ 24,350 (on Bitstamp).

This has been Bitcoins's highest price since August last year. At this point, however, the bulls came out to play and have strongly pushed the asset to south since then. As a result, Bitcoin slipped under $ 23,500, where it is currently also located.

Nevertheless, its market capitalization has remained over $ 450 billion, but its dominance compared to the Alts has dropped to 42 %.

UStc, Lunc, ETHW rapidly

While most Large cap alternatives have decreased slightly, Terra Classic and UStC went in the opposite direction. Both tokens from the Terra ecosystem have risen in double digits because the increase in UStC is particularly impressive. The controversial algorithmic stable coin has been shot by over 60 %.

Ethereum Pow is another remarkable winner on a daily basis, which has risen by $ 17 % to $ 4.6. At the same time, Ethereum fell by 1.5 % to $ 1,650. Binance Coin, Ripplecardano, Dogecoin, Polygon, OKB, Solana and Litecoin are also in the minus.

Polkadot and Shiba Inu are among the few exceptions, as are Ethereum Classic. All of these have increased by up to 5%.

The cumulative market capitalization of all crypto-assets has lost something since yesterday and is now $ 1.075 trillion.
