S & P Global believes that Krypto will continue to grow in 2022
A new report by S&P Global, an information and data company, predicts that the cryptocurrency and the decentralized financial sector will continue to grow in 2022 test report , with the title Global Credit Outlook 2022, explains that institutional crypto investments still focus on a few companies, but this could lead to other institutions. The report says:
Three companies - Block. One, Microstrategy and Tesla - hold almost 84 % of company investments in Bitcoin. However, the growing interest of institutional investors promises an accelerated expansion of cryptocurrencies as an investment vehicle.
According to the report, tokenization could also be a strong force to help people invest in assets that they could not have created without these tools. In other words, tokenization could offer the opportunity to democratize opportunities. Regulation will also be an important component next year, since the industry still needs a regulatory framework that recognizes the rights of token owners and Smart Contract protocols.
Defi will not put traditional finances in danger
In terms of decentralized financing, the report states that the sector will continue to grow, but not endangered the traditional structures that manage banking and finance. However, these institutes have to adapt to the current expectations of users to financial platforms. The report explains:
Defi will continue to add traditional finance in 2022. We assume that in 2022 it will continue to develop in the direction of an addition to the current financial system instead of replacing financial services companies. In order to remain relevant, the established actors must further increase their investments in new technologies.
According to the report, regulation will be a key factor for growth (or stagnation) of the decentralized financial sector next year. S&P Global is of the opinion that volume growth and the increase in the stable coins in this area will put the regulatory debate under pressure, but it is unlikely that the regulatory authorities will do this jumping these problems quickly, since the framework conditions for the complete surveillance of crypto-ketts are often missing, and this will be missing in itself to a challenge. What do you think of the predictions of the S&P Global Report?
