Solana Foundation Run RPCs go offline, Exec weighing up

The remote procedure Call (RPC) endpoints of the Solana Foundation went on January 8th due to an error in test version 1.14 of the Validator client.

According to an update from Solana Status, the bug

  • The incident, however, had no effect on the block production of Solana, in contrast to previous cases of failures that have been piled up for the network of the network of producing blocks, for hours

"Mainnet Beta Explorer and Public RPC endpoints of the Solana Foundation are currently offline because the RPC node software is updated according to an error in trial 1.14. The block production has not been impaired and the Solana network was not impaired."

"The RPCs of the Solana Foundation are a very installed service that is not intended for production purposes, but only for testing and occasional use. The RPC infrastructure of the Solana Foundation is deliberately up to date with the latest state of the public-to find errors in situations with a low impact."
