Orlando Bravo, the billionaire who co-founded the private equity company Thoma Bravo, says that he is very optimistic about Bitcoin and expects cryptocurrency to "increase significantly". He described: "Crypto is simply a great system. It is smooth. It is decentralized. And young people want their own financial system. So it is here to stay."

Orlando Bravo, co-founder and managing partner of the private equity company Thoma Bravo, spoke on Wednesday at the Delivering Alpha Conference of CNBC about Bitcoin. According to Forbes, its net assets are $ 6.3 billion on September 29. Bravo is said to be the first billionaire born in Puerto Rico.
"How could you not love crypto?" he said at the conference and stated:
crypto is simply a great system. It is smooth. It is decentralized. And young people want their own financial system. So it is here to stay.
"The underlying blockchain technology, regardless of which protocol or system you are based on, can be very powerful and sometimes offers better use cases than data-based software," added the billion dollar investor.
In July, Thomas Bravo took part in a financing round for FTX Trading Ltd., owner and operator of the FTX cryptocurrency exchange.
Bravo also announced on Wednesday that he personally invested in Bitcoin, and explained:
It is pretty easy for me. In the future, more people will use than today and it will be better established. The institutions are just beginning to go there, and if that happens, I think they will increase significantly over the years. I am very bullish.
