Crypto-assets are here to say that diversified portfolios should have crypto exposure-featured

US senator Pat Toomey says that crypto-assets will stay here and "have a thoroughly diversified portfolio". The legislature added that he had a "very simple" investment strategy - diversify.

The US legislator says that crypto has come to stay

US Senator Pat Toomey spoke on CNBC about cryptocurrencies on Wednesday. The senator was asked if he actively acted with cryptocurrency. While he admitted that crypto-assets are part of his diversified investment portfolio, he made it clear that "active trade was a great exaggeration".

The Senator from Pennsylvania explained:

Since I was able to collect savings, I had a very simple strategy - diversify.

He described that he was pursuing this strategy because he "did other things to evaluate and select stocks".

Senator Toomey said:

It seems to me that crypto assets will stay here, and a thoroughly diversified portfolio should have.

The spokeswoman for the Senator told Marketwatch that Krypto is less than 1 % of the total investment portfolio of TOOMEY.

"Since Senator Toomey began to collect savings years ago, he believed that the best approach to generate long -term prosperity is a strongly diversified investment portfolio," she explained.

With indication that "crypto has become an investment class of a sensible size", the spokesman emphasized that "the maintenance of a well -diversified investment portfolio now means to have some crypto".

Senator Toomey continued:

I have always been an advocate of free markets, restricted government, less strict regulation and lower taxes.

He was also asked whether the legislator should be able to invest in crypto-assets if he has the opportunity to influence their regulation.

Senator Toomey replied: "We have a very comprehensive disclosure system. Every transaction has to be reported. All assets have to be reported. People can see what congressions do and they can draw their own conclusions."
