Kava becomes the latest blockchain for the host of USDT
tether-the company behind the largest stablecoin-announced the introduction of USDT to Kava (a Layer 1-Proof-of-Stake-Blockchain network).
After the latest development, the token is now active in over a dozen networks, including Ethereum, Near Protocol, Solana, Tron, Algorand and more.
- The StableCoin emittent praised the KAVA network for its scalability and speed and said it would be the next blockchain in which USDT will circulate.
- Paolo Ardoinino - CTO at Tether - believes that the initiative will enable Kava to offer its “strong community” access to “the world's first, most stable, trustworthy and most widespread stable coin”.
"The KAVA network is a unique and widespread blockchain with a solid success record of four years without security problems, which is of crucial importance for the protection of USDT users. Together we want to redesign the future of the decentralized financial system and promote a robust and integrative ecosystem from which users benefit from the world," added the managing director.
- Kava-a layer 1 blockchain that combines functions of Cosmos and Ethereum-the 14th network, the USDT supports. The company recently announced the successful implementation of its Mainnet upgrade "Kava 13", which aims to improve its infrastructure and offer customers additional protection, functionality, speed and scalability.
- The other blockchains that have taken over the stablecoin leading after market capital are Ethereum, Solana, Algorand, Near Protocol, Polygon, Tron, Kusama and more.
