Foam Shoe Giant Crocs is sufficient for NFT and Digital Collectibles brand registration-

According to a recent brand registration, Crocs, the American shoe company based in Colorado, may immerse themselves in the world of non -fungal tokens (NFTS). CROCS has sold 300 million pairs of foam clog shoes since 2004 and the application describes a protocol that can manage and save digital collectibles.

Crocs brand registration describes “downloadable virtual goods created with blockchain technology, smart contracts, in the type of shoes”

A report by the United States (USPTO) patent and brand office submitted on January 11, 2022 shows that Crocs has the industry of non-fungal tokens (NFT). The Crocs company is known for its clogs from injection molded foam since the company secured exclusive rights to the proprietary foam product called Croslite in 2004.

The USPTO report shows a product that is completely different from foam clogs. The "Registration is intended to cover the categories of downloadable digital media, namely digital assets, digital collectibles, digital tokens and non -fungible tokens (NFTS)," says the comments on the registration of the Crocs brand. It continues with the mention of things such as the use of blockchain technology and intelligent contracts to present the products of crocs. The submission adds:

[The Registration is intended to cover] with blockchain-based software technology and intelligent contracts created downloadable virtual goods in the form of footwear, clothing, bags, accessories and supporters for decorating footwear, clothing, bags and accessories; Downloadable computer software for creating, managing, saving, accessing, sending, receiving, exchanging, exchanging, validating and selling digital assets, digital collectibles, digital brands and non -reasonable brands (NFTS).

In terms of sale, crocs are no longer as popular as in the first few years of their introduction and in 2010, the time magazine added crocs to the "50 worst inventions in the world". However, crocs are still often worn by prominent nicki minaj , Kim Kardashian and Justin Bieber . While the brand shows an interest in securing the rights in intellectual property (IP) of NFT-based crocs, the company has recently mentioned nothing about the use of NFTs.

In the meantime, a number of well -known brands from all over the world have entered the world of NFTs. Well-known brands like Z adidas , Budweiser , hennessy , arizona-e-tee , samsung , ubisoft , , bicycle , pepsi cola , Atari and Delorean .
