Ethereum experiences sales rise in the last quarter, while NFT volumes rise and minimum prices fall

Ethereum, the second largest cryptocurrency after market capitalization, recorded a significant increase in income in the last quarter. According to the Ethereum profit and loss account, the total fees rose by 56% and the gross profit margin reached 84%.

Despite sales growth, however, there was a slight decline in activity in the Ethereum protocol. Compared to the previous year, the number of daily active users (DAU) decreased by 3%, while there was a decrease of 4% compared to the previous quarter. The average number of daily transactions fell by 4% in the annual comparison and 1% in the quarterly comparison.

Nevertheless, the entire Ethereum ecosystem experienced significant growth in the DAUS that doubled. Layer-2 protocols such as polygon, optimism and arbitrum gained many users in the last quarter. This shows an increased degree of commitment within the Ethereum ecosystem.

The NFT sector also recorded strong growth. The trading volume and the number of sales of NFTS in the Ethereum network rose considerably. However, the minimum prices for many blue chip ethereum nfts fell during this period, which could have aroused the interest of buyers in these collections.

Despite the volatility in the cryptom market in recent years, Ethereum continues to have success. The introduction of the Shapella upgrade and the increased interest in Layer-2 protocols have contributed to the fact that Ethereum recorded an increase in sales in the last quarter. Although there was a decline in activity in the protocol, the entire Ethereum ecosystem recorded strong growth in the DAUS. The NFT sector also benefited from this growth, although the minimum prices for some NFTs have dropped.

The future of Ethereum remains uncertain, but the latest developments and positive trends give hope for further growth and success of the network. At the time of printing, Ethereum is traded at $ 1,880.46 and has an increase of 1.86%in the last 24 hours.
