Ethereum could dethroned Bitcoin as the best crypto value storage, argues study-

A paper recently written by members of several universities, including Sydney and Macquarie, argues that the latest changes in Ethereum's monetary policy make it a better value -plentiful than Bitcoin. The deflationary effect that the EIP-1559 proposal caused when the currency was issued should be the main cause of this.
Ethereum in the spotlight
A new paper that was published by members of Australian universities last month is moving in Ethereum and his possible future as a value preservation means. The paper with the title "Better than bitcoin? Can cryptocurrencies defeat inflation?" Technology in Sydney and other scientists written and compares the issue of Bitcoin with the new output model of Ethereum, which makes the currency deflationary.
The paper says:
We show that the digital currency Ethereum has a significantly lower net emission rate of token as Bitcoin, which is achieved by annihilation of the fees
connected to each transaction.
This has to do with the activation of EIP-1559, a proposal that burns Ethereum proportional to use the network. While this proposal met with resistance-mainly from miners and mining pools-he now contributes to this new upgrading from Ethereum as a possibly deflationary currency in the future.
burning fees
The implementation of EIP-1559 has meant that the network has burned a significant amount of Ethereum in fees. This change ETH after only three months after implementation in the Mainset. The study noticed:
In many cases, the amount of burned Ethereum exceeds the creation of new tokens by the network, which means that Ethereum may become the world's first deflationary currency. We argue that this offers better inflationary security properties than Bitcoin, and ether therefore possibly offers better long -term value storage than Bitcoin.
other cryptocurrency projects use similar burning schemes in the hope of restoring the same effect. Binance Coin recently activated an update for his network, which has also implemented the fee burning. Binance Coin and Ethereum differ fundamentally: the latter has no emissions border, while Binance Coin has a hard emission border.
