H&M denied meta-verse rumors and collaboration with Ceek

Several important publications reported on Monday that the clothing giant H&M opened a 3D shop in the meta-verse, including mashable India.

H&M (Hennes & Mauritz) is an important fashion and design company with 53 online markets and stores in 75 markets worldwide. As one of the largest clothing brands in the world, H&M has 4,856 shops worldwide on September 30, 2021. The largest markets are Germany, the United States, Great Britain, France, Sweden, Russia, Italy and the Netherlands.

However, the company has rejected the reports that it opened a shop in meta -verses. When Bitcoin.com news asked about the news, a spokesman for H&M made it clear:

We would like to confirm that H&M currently does not open a store in meta -verses.

According to the wrong reports, the company said that customers can go through the shop, select the desired products and buy the Ceek City Universe. Payments must be made with Ceek token (Ceek).

Ceek virtual reality environments are regulated by smart contracts on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC), its website details.

In addition, false reports claim that customers can later order clothes from the H&M Metaverse shop in their physical shops.

The rumor that H&M opens a shop in the meta verse, followed a twitter from Ceeks official Twitter-account on December 7th. The company said it had created a "Concept VR Store" that is to be presented.

The spokesman for H&M told Bitcoin.com News:

We don't work with Ceek either.

The official Twitter account of Ceek then made it clear on Monday: "The H&M store in the CEEK meta person was just a concept that was presented, and not yet a actual virtual store. We are in conversations with people from H&M to realize this, but that is not yet a reality."
