In 2022, DMCC Crypto Center crossed the 500 member companies - Emerging Markets

The presence of over 500 blockchain and web3 companies in the Crypto Center of the Dubai Multi Commodities Center (DMCC) shows that the demand for space is still very high, according to an explanation. According to Ahmed bin Sulayem, CEO of DMCC, the "record height" of the total number of new company registrations shows the extent of the "trust of investors in the Emirate".

According to the Dubai Multi Commodities Center (DMCC) based in the United Arab Emirates, the demand for areas in its "Crypto Center" rose significantly, which can be seen from the more than 500 blockchain and web3 companies that were registered with the Crypto Center at the end of 2022. Against the background of an annual increase in the number of registered members, 23 % from 2,485 in 2021 to 3,049 until the end of 2022.

Supported by a strong regional macroeconomic landscape, DMCC efficiently accelerated its growth strategy in the course of 2022 and concentrated on the support of its member companies in important sectors such as web3 and blockchain technologies, raw materials and global trade. The unprecedented performance this year reflects this growth acceleration and underlines the considerable value that DMCC adds to each of its members.

The CEO also indicated that the "record -high" number of new company registrations could be an indication of the extent of the "trust of investors in the Emirate".

In the meantime, Feryal Ahmadi, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the DMCC, suggested that his organization will try to "build up in its strong position by further improving its services and offers" and would make new alliances around the world.
