Kroaten's Greyp Bikes, which has set itself the goal of being one of the technology leaders in the cycling world, has taken another innovative step. The company has introduced the support for payments with nine large cryptocurrencies- btc , eth , bch , xlm , xrp , dai, eos , Usdt , and USDC-through a cooperation with Paycek, the leading crypto payment processor in the country. It recently announced :

Greyp News to everyone! Cryptocurrencies can now be used to buy Greyp bicycles directly.

"Greyp has always been at the top of the technology in the bicycle world, so this was the next logical step in the further development of the brand," adds the manufacturer of high-performance bikes from Sveta Nedelja.

also found that customers could buy their bicycles with cryptocurrency before the partnership with Paycek, but now rationalized crypto payments and fully integrated into the online checkout process on their website Greyp.com.

PAYCEK is a platform developed by the Croatian Fintech startup Electrocoin. The payment settler has already helped other local companies to accept cryptocurrencies. Over 45 Tifon petrol stations in all of Croatia introduced at the beginning of this year, while electrocoin activated two years ago offers a crypto exchange service in your post offices.

"The move should not surprise anyone who monitors what the entrepreneur Mate Rimac born in Livno does with his cars and his bicycles", commented the Total Croatia news portal in his report on Greyp's decision to integrate cryptocurrency payments.

The Croatian entrepreneur founded Greyp Bikes in 2013 as a sister company of Rimac Automobili, a manufacturer of electric sports car, which he founded in 2009. The car company is now partly owned by Porsche and Hyundai of the VW Group. In July, Porsche and Rimac announced the foundation of a joint venture that will include Volkswagen high -performance brand Bugatti.

The integration of cryptocurrencies through Greyp is not the only example of this kind in the bicycle industry. The British company Toba Electric Bikes, which sells e-bikes of the Spanish brand BH, has support for btc and bch payments and in 2019 released its own utility token in cooperation with the SLP-centered trading platform Cryptophyl.
