Brave browser to integrate Solana support-
Brave, the company behind the Brave browser, has teamed up with Solana to support the blockchain directly via his browser. According to a press release, the brave browser is now used by default on Solana for cross-chain and decentralized app support. Courageous users who now go into the millions will have access to a Solana wallet within the app. This function is expected to be introduced in the first half of 2022.
Brave works with Solana to offer dapp support
Brave, the company responsible for the development of the Brave browser, a leading web browser in which data protection comes first, It is a partnership with Solana , a top 5-smart -Contract-compatible cryptocurrency, for support for Solana-based apps directly via the browser to offer. The announcement was made during the Breakpoint conference of Solana, on the Brendan Eich, CEO of Brave, praised scalability and functionality that Solana would offer for brave users.
At the event, Eich explained:
Since more and more users and developers need tools for quick and affordable access to the decentralized web, this integration will seamlessly pave the way for the next billion crypto users, use applications and tokens.
The 46 million Brave users will soon have access to Solana support by default. Brave will continue to support the Ethereum ecosystem, but with this integration it clearly represents a chain-tagal view and intends to continue to integrate support for other chains in the future.
Scalability and the Themis Protocol from Brave
Solana is one of the most productive “Ethereum killer” tokens on the market that tries to scale the weaknesses and high fees of Ethereum due to its inability. His token, which was introduced less than two years ago, is already one of the five best cryptocurrencies that are evaluated after market capitalization.
One of the reasons for this is the ability to manage more transactions with lower fees. Brave mentions that "transaction fees that are recorded at Ethereum (due to the increased interest in crypto and defi) have held some users from the transaction". The new partnership aims to open up more people the opportunity to use the Brave platform in combination with the low-fee environment of Solana. Nevertheless, it is important to note that Solana himself has not been excluded from his own criticisms .
The perceived advantages of Solana are probably one of the reasons that Brave supports the network based on its pure Ethereum approach. Another reason is that the browser implemented Theme Protocol, one of the most important aspects of Braves Roadmap, in addition to Solana. In return, Solana will encourage developers to use on Solana-based dapps.
