AMC Theater is well on the way to accepting Dogecoin and Shiba inu payments in the first quarter- CEO confirmed-

The CEO of AMC Theater, Adam Aaron, has given an update to the progress of his company in the acceptance of the meme cryptocurrencies Dogecoin (Doge) and Shiba Inu (Shib).

AMC Entertainment Holdings (NYSE: AMC), also known as AMC Theater, is the largest film exhibition company in the USA, Europe and the world. The company has or operates around 950 theater and 10,500 screens worldwide.

Aron tweeted on Thursday that he was repeatedly asked when AMC expected to accept Dogecoin and Shiba-Inu cryptocurrencies "for all payments made via the AMC website and the mobile app". He made it clear that he was informed that AMC was still "on the road" for the promised implementation in the first quarter, and found that the exact month was most likely March.

The AMC Manager announced in November last year that his company accepted Doge and Shib via bitpay. At that time, Bitpay had not yet started supporting Shiba Inu. Aron claimed that the crypto payment processing company had decided to support Shib at his request.

Aron also said that AMC will begin with the acceptance of Shiba Inu in the first quarter of this year. At the beginning of December, Bitpay, who already supported Doge, Shib.
