Solana network performance improves in the first half of 2023: Operating time increases, transaction speed increases
The Solana Foundation recently published its report on network performance and has found an improved performance of the Solana network in the first half of 2023. The performance was measured based on the operating time, the ratio of non -voters to voting transactions and other factors.
An important indicator of the network performance is the number of transactions per second (TPS). Solana has had a continuous increase in TPS since January, especially after various network upgrades. According to Dune Analytics, the current TPS in the network is 3,777.
The Artemis dashboard also reports that Solana recorded 19.2 million transactions every day and was therefore leading in this key figure until it was recently overtaken by the SUI network due to the popularity of a web3 game.Despite the good performance of the network, the price of the native tokens of the blockchain, Solana (SOL), fell by 4.5% and, according to CoinTelegraph, is around $ 25.50. The token rose by 50% last month, but still remains 90% below its all-time high of $ 260 in November 2021.
The Solana Foundation's report clearly shows that the Solana network is continuously gaining performance and continues to improve. The increasing number of transactions per second and the management position in relation to the daily transaction number are clear indicators for the positive development of the network. Although the price of the SOL-TOKEN has currently dropped, it still shows a long-term positive development. Overall is a promising blockchain platform that continuously develops its potential.
