X402 Token Explosion: 366% Increase After BNB Chain Launch!

On October 27, 2025, the x402 ecosystem tokens have experienced a notable increase in their market value, now exceeding $800 million. This 366 percent increase comes as part of the launch of the Facilitator Module protocol for the BNB Chain, as crypto.news reports.

The market capitalization of the protocol exceeded $810 million with the launch of x402b. Pieverse's new token, x402b, brings significant improvements including support for EIP-3009, enabling gasless payments, as well as verifiable on-chain receipts. These features increase compatibility and readiness for businesses on the BNB Chain.

Rapidly increasing trading activity

Trading activity in the x402 ecosystem has peaked at $225.4 million in the last 24 hours. Of particular note is the token AInalyst, which rose by 179 percent, as well as Capminal, which recorded an increase of 140.6 percent. The largest single contributor to the market performance came from EIGEN (EIGEN), whose value increased by 8.5 percent to $1.20.

The massive market expansion was accompanied by the announcement of the x402b protocol, which is intended to extend the original x402 standard. This standard, originally developed by Coinbase, uses the HTTP 402 Payment Required status code for instant payments. The protocol allows transactions to be processed via HTTP requests, eliminating the need for traditional account setups.

Growth and future outlook

Prior to the introduction of the x402b protocol, it was already processing around 500,000 transactions within a week, an impressive increase of 10,780 percent compared to the previous four weeks. Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong highlighted the protocol’s significant growth. The x402b version was announced on October 26th and aims to support BNB Chain through addressable gasless payments and compliance with auditing standards.

Additionally, Pieverse launched pieUSD, a 1:1 USDT wrap with EIP-3009 support to facilitate gasless payments on the BNB Chain. The custom facilitator module generates legally compliant, immutable receipts for transactions stored on BNB Greenfield. With these developments, BNB token acceptance and transaction volumes are expected to increase significantly in the coming weeks.
