Wormhole publishes Solana and Ethereum NFT Bridge-a bidirectional motorway for blockchain collector's pieces-Blockchain

Last Friday, the blockchain project Wormhole Network introduced the protocol's Ethereum Solana Bridge, which enables users to exchange assets from both networks across chains. Five days later, the Wormhole Network team announced the introduction of a non-fungable token (NFT) bridge for the transfer of NFTS between the two blockchains.

"Today we are incredibly happy to be able to announce the start of our NFT bridge between Ethereum and Solana," Wormhole tweeted on Wednesday. "Users can now send Ethereum and Solana-NFTS across chains. This includes their favorite cryptopunks (packaged), @degenapeacademy and @Boredapeyc and more," added the team.

The new tool that the Wormhole team developed opens up a "bidirectional motorway for more than 6.68 million NFTS characterized by Ethereum", an explanation sent by the Wormhole Team details to Bitcoin.com News. The Ethereum ↔ Solana NFT-Bridge-Tool can be used to use a solana-based NFT on a marketplace like open sea . By bridging the NFT assets to Ethereum, the assets are blocked and there will be a "packaged" version on Ethereum. According to the Wormhole team, the transmission takes about five minutes and then the SPL will be controllable like any other ERC721 standard token.

"Conversely, everyone can also take ERC 721-NFTs and to Solana so that users can list their BayC NFTs, for example, on Solana markets," explained the Wormhole Network operators.

The Wormhole team also stated that the developers of Wormhole plan to add a user interface with which users can check which original NFT (in the original chain) supports asset so that authenticity can be checked. Hendrik Hofstadt, director of special projects at Jump Crypto, former co -founder of Certus One and main contribution payer by Wormhole, said that the review of Bitcoin.com News is important.

"Imagine a 'packaged/bridged NFT' as a kind of check or demand that gives you the right to redeem the original NFT in the chain from which it comes from," said Hofstadt.
