Twitter users discover crypto fraud tweet on verified robinhood account, company removes mail-
According to several sources, Robinhood's Twitter account was allegedly hacked on Wednesday, January 25, 2023. The account published a tweet in which Binance Smart was advertised Chain Token, which is listed on the decentralized Pancakeswap Stock Exchange. An analysis of the situation on the blockchain shows that the token received less than $ 1,000 of purchases before Robinhood removed the tweet.

On Wednesday afternoon at 12:30 p.m. Eastern Time were Twitter-users discuss how Robinhoods verified Twitter account, @robinhoodapp , which has a golden crochet, posted a cheating tweet. Robinhood has now deleted the tweet, but can be viewed via one Archive.orgsorg and the different screenshots,, that are shared on Twitter.
The tweet was: "Memory, we are leading our new token ($ RBH) on Binance Smart a Char. Will be live at 12 noon. You can be one of the first to buy at a starting price of $ 0.0005." The tweet, which came from the @Robinhoodapp account, also contained a link to the Pancakeswap platform on which the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) token listed.
"Oh my god", a Twitter user Wednesday. "Robinhood's Twitter account was hacked. They post on the left for a crypto advertising ghost. Nobody is certain in this world," added the person. "The official Twitter account by Robinhood seems to have been hacked", another account notes on Twitter.
Conor Grogan, an employee at Coinbase who tweets as a hobby about Onchain movements, also tweeted about fraud. "Looks like the social media hacked by Robinhood," the Onchain researcher remarked on Twitter. "You only made about 10 people bite on the fraud token before the link was switched off." Grogan added:
So far, the token has only seen [Less Than] $ 1,000 of purchases. I can imagine that the people who are now getting involved have seen the volume climb and are looking for thrills.
The Twitter account @Robinhoodapp has not yet tweeted or confirmed whether the account was hacked or not. The account has a total of 1.1 million followers on the social media platform. This story develops and can be updated at a later date.
