Shardeum, a leading Layer 1 protocol on Ethereum, and OKX Wallet, a leading self-custody solution for digital assets, have announced a strategic partnership. OKX Wallet will support the launch of Shardeum Testnet in the first quarter of 2023, with full integration to follow shortly thereafter. Shardeum's dynamic state sharding technology enables linear scalability while maintaining atomic composability. The project's co-founders, Nischal Shetty and Omar Syed, have extensive experience in crypto and distributed systems technology, respectively.
Under the terms of the partnership, OKX Wallet will be the exclusive reward contribution wallet in future Shardeum marketing campaigns. In addition, all Web3 products developed by the world's leading cryptocurrency exchange OKX will fully support the Shardeum ecosystem, including the OKX wallet, the OKX NFT marketplace and the integrated OKX DEX.
Other areas of collaboration include incubation with OKX Web 3 Operation Campaigns, Twitter Space AMAs, offline event sponsorships and collaborations, OKX Venture Engagement, and a banner page on OKX Discover, the exchange's one-stop platform for discovering decentralized applications. OKX Wallet will also be the recommended integration option for projects deployed on Shardeum. In addition, OKX Wallet and OKX Web 3 will also work together to develop Shardeum's go-to-market plan.
