After Adidas and Nike have entered the meta verse, the sneaker manufacturer New Balance seems to prepare to bring virtual articles onto the market that are bound to its products. The company submitted three brand registrations to the United States Patent and Trademark Office, which describe "downloadable virtual goods" with "shoes, clothes, sports bags, sports equipment and accessories for use in online worlds".

The American brand for sports shoes and clothing, founded in 1906, shows new balance, shows interest in virtual goods recently submitted brand registrations .
