Millions of Wix dealers can now accept 12 different cryptocurrencies-

On Tuesday, the cryptocurrency payment company Bitpay based in Atlanta announced that the Israeli software company Wix has activated its e-commerce product Software AS A Service (SAAS) to accept crypto-asset payments. Integration will enable dealers from WIX to accept 12 different cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Litecoin and Stablecoins.

On October 12, Wix announced that the payment processing infrastructure for BitPay cryptocurrencies can implement so that users can select the WIX e-commerce platform.

In addition to five different stablecoins such as Busd, Dai, Gusd, USDP and USDC, Wix Merchant can also accept Bitcoin ( btc ), Bitcoin-Bar money ( bch ), Dogecoin ( eth ), litecoin ( ltc ), packaged Bitcoin (WBTC) and XRP (in certain jurisdiction). Metrics show that Wix with its product services such as the website builder, business management services and web hosting generates sales of around $ 1 billion.

"WIX is one of the largest and most common web development platforms, so this is a further step forward to move the cryptocurrency mainstream," said Stephen Pair, CEO from Bitpay. "Companies can quickly come onto the market and get additional sales by opening up the massive trillion dollar market for cryptocurrencies," added Pair.

According to the announcement, Wix retailers and their customers can use the BitPay service in the USA, Great Britain, Germany, Canada, Australia and Brazil in the first phase of introducing Wix.
