Cryptocurrency exchange Bitrue was exploited today, with the perpetrator able to withdraw approximately $23 million worth of cryptocurrency.

The exploit has been officially confirmed.

• Laut Ankündigung:

The attackers were able to withdraw approximately $23 million worth of assets in ETH, QNT, GALA, SHIB, HOT and MATIC. The affected hot wallet only holds less than 5% of our total funds. The rest of our wallets remain secure and have not been compromised.

• Es ist noch nicht klar, ob der Exploit auf einen technischen Fehler oder Social Engineering zurückzuführen ist.
