Tron founder Justin Sun announced Yesterday he had plans to go to space next year to fulfill one of his childhood dreams. The journey that would take the crypto entrepreneur out of Earth's atmosphere would be done using the services of Blue Origin, the space company owned by Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon. Sun also revealed that he was the unnamed winner of an auction, joining Bezos on the company's inaugural flight. He paid $28 million to participate in the launch. Sun explained:

I won the auction 6 months ago but missed the start. However, this didn't stop my love for space.

The entrepreneur, who recently left his position at the Tron Foundation, the organization behind Tron, was also recently appointed as Grenada's representative to the World Trade Organization. Sun continues explained he would carry the country's flag during his space journey.

But Sun doesn't plan on going into space alone. He said he would take five people with him from different backgrounds. The campaign, called Sea of ​​Stars, will nominate five different people to complete the six-person group for the trip. The first of the nominees for the trip, according to Sun, will be a crypto entrepreneur involved in the Metaverse. The second nominee will be part of the Tron DAO and can be from any background in the community.

The third nominee will be selected from technology-related entrepreneurs. The fourth nominee will have an artistic background, and the fifth and final nominee will be a "highly visible and socially influential celebrity" who will be a mystery guest. These nominees will be announced in the coming months, as Sun stated that no names have been finalized for these positions.
