UXLINK-HACK: Buyer of the crime sells stolen 6.8 million USD

The UxLink-Hack, which took place on September 22, 2025, shaked the crypto community again. The attacker has continued to sell stolen assets in the past few days, with a significant focus on the liquidation of funds. Around 6.8 million USD in Ethereum (ETH) were recently converted into Dai stable coins, which is the hacker's first big attempt to secure the missing means after the incident. This transaction happened about 48 hours after the hack, which indicates the urgency of the attacker, to blur the trace of his actions.

The hacker has carried out complex money movements by transferring the stolen assets over numerous wallets and both central and decentralized stock exchanges. Such strategies are typical of complicity to follow up by security authorities and the projects concerned. Nevertheless, the attacker also lost part of his stolen funds when he had to see 542 million UXLINK-TOKEN, which corresponds to about $ 43 million, from his wallet.

Details about the hack and its consequences

The UXLINK-Hack used a weak point in the project's multi-signature wallet, which granted the attacker administrator access. This susceptibility to security led to almost 10 trillion cruxlink tokens on the Arbitrum blockchain and part of it was liquidated for ETH, USDC and other assets. This process has reduced the value of the token by more than 70%.

In response to the hack, Uxlink has taken immediate measures. The project informed relevant exchanges to freeze suspicious transactions and worked closely with security companies to prevent further losses. In addition, emergency measures were taken, which included a token migration into a new auditing Smart Contract with limited care. The auditing aimed at increasing security and improving controls around multi-signature wallets and contract interactions.

Outlook on the traceculation

The attacker's current money movements represent a considerable challenge and increase the difficulties in the full recovery of the stolen funds. While security measures are increasingly being increased, the crypto community remains aware and looks at how the situation will develop. With the measures taken, Uxlink hopes to restore the integrity of his system and to prevent such incidents in the future.
