Cryptocurrency creates new jobs, encourages entrepreneurs to invent new values, creates new security against inflation and offers new opportunities. It is also increasingly being used as a secure means of payment for goods and services.
"This is exactly why we should improve accessibility here in the United States Capitol and signal our support for the burgeoning cryptocurrency industry," he added.

You would also have to "conclude contracts with providers who accept cryptocurrencies as a means of payment for meals and in sales machines within the Capitol complex".

An additional advantage of using cryptocurrency as a means of payment in the Capitol is that foreign tourists who visit the capital of our nation every year offers a secure payment option without having to pay unnecessary and often costly change fees.
The legislator has long been a pro-bitcoin senator. In May last year he said that he was " incredibly bullish " on Bitcoin. "I have a weekly purchase that is an automatic weekly purchase of Bitcoin because I believe in the average of the dollar costs," he noted at the time.
also Senator Cruz brought a bill in April last year a prohibit the Federal Reserve From the development of a digital central bank currency (Direct-to-Consumer Central Bank Digital Currency, CBDC), "which the Federal Government could use as a financial surveillance tool, similar to how it is currently in China," noted Cruz.
