  • The company's short-term priorities include margin-based futures contracts and market data tools
  • "We deliberately built up a diverse group of partners," said John Deters, Chief Strategy Officer from CBOE

CBOE GLOBAL Markets brings a number of equity partners on board to support the growth of his business with digital assets, just a few months after completing the takeover of erisx .

The company strives to expand its crypto-spot and futures skills in order to conclude what managers described as a "massive gap" in the area of the offer of market intermediaries as a trustworthy place for its private and institutional customers.

Erisx operates a cash ambassam market based in the USA for digital assets as well as an appointment exchange and a clearing point that are regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). CBOE which belongs to the world's largest option exchange, concluded the takeover of the company in May in order to enter the Kassa and derivate markets for digital assets and plan, erisx in CBO Digital to rename.

The new planned partners who want to take on minority participations to CBOE are B2C2, DRW, GSR, Hidden Road, IMC, Interactive Brokers, Jane Street, Jump Crypto, Optier, Robinhood, Delicioustrade and Virtu Financial. The executives did not announce the exact amount of the operations.

Investors are joined by other previously announced partner companies such as Fidelity Digital Assets, Galaxy Digital, Nydig and Webull. CBOE plans the formation of a digital advisory committee from the partner companies.

The new group of partners includes order flower providers for retail, some of the largest market makers in the spot cryptowelt and other market makers who are more focusing on pricing and trading with derivatives, John Deters, Chief Strategy Officer from CBO, told Blockworks.

"We deliberately built a diverse group of partners," he said. "It is this type of mix that, in our opinion, creates an ideal and healthy mix of participants, everyone has a slightly different focus and at the same time comes together to create a lively and liquid market."

Erisx and CBOE product roadmap

erisx offers concepts with cash compensation on Bitcoin and ether. It offers spot trade with Bitcoin, Ether, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin and USD Coin.

In terms of the company's product roadmap, Erisx President John Palmer told Blockworks that his “next advance” was to maintain CFTC approval for trading with margin-based futures contracts. CBOE hopes to be able to launch these products by the end of the year, he said.

In the years 2023 and 2024, the company will try to offer additional concepts and spot trade for tokens beyond the five digital assets currently offered. Although Palmer did not name any specific assets that wanted to offer, it found that it would consider other “top-traded tokens”.

"We definitely want to offer this very quickly and have a platform that participants act spot and derivatives and can really benefit from capital efficiency by clearing these things in our clearing point," said Palmer.

using market data based on usable money and mail courses from the spot cryptom market also plans to develop a benchmark data current to help the market participants evaluate crypto execution prices.

"Our industry will be digital in the long term and make it so secure that our platform is built for this future, that we help market participants and our customers to get involved in the market and help them find their ways of digitization and interaction Your products are a" corporate -critical "initiative and will be busy for a while," said Deters.
