Revolution in Bitcoin purchasing: Cash becomes digital without ATMs!
On November 5, 2025, the company Crypto Dispensers in Chicago, USA, announced a groundbreaking change in its services. Going forward, the company will transition its physical Bitcoin ATMs to a national platform that enables cash-to-Bitcoin transactions via a software-based solution. This initiative aims to make Bitcoin more accessible to a broader segment of the population, particularly those who prefer cash and those with limited access to traditional banking services.
Founded in 2017, Crypto Dispensers was one of the first Bitcoin ATM operators in 2019 to work with major retail partners on innovative, software-based solutions. The previous physical ATMs, which often posed operational challenges such as armored cash collection and expensive maintenance, are now being repurposed as access points to the new platform. This new model eliminates the high transaction fees that traders sometimes charge up to 27% above the spot price of Bitcoin, thereby reducing costs for the end user.
The new platform
Crypto Dispensers' new proprietary web application available on cryptodispensers.com is available, allows customers to hand over cash to trained staff. This ensures instant credit to users' accounts, with Bitcoin sent directly to the customer's chosen wallet, be it paper, mobile or hardware wallets. Most importantly, the platform does not require third-party custody, giving users instant access to their digital assets.
The security of the transactions is also guaranteed. These are done in person with identity verification and fraud alerts displayed on screens to users. There are specific deposit limits for each transaction: $500 per transaction, $1,500 per day and $5,000 per month are the established limits.
Integration of traditional and digital payment methods
In his statement, Crypto Dispensers Founder and CEO Firas Isa highlights the importance of security and instant ownership of Bitcoin. The platform will also integrate various payment methods such as cash, transfers and credit cards to diversify access to Bitcoin while leveraging the existing infrastructure of retail and financial institutions.
The partnerships with various retailers aim to promote the integration of traditional payment infrastructure with digital asset technology. This ensures that the transformation towards digital currencies becomes more accessible to the general public while addressing Bitcoin security and access concerns.
