Binance now approved in 7 EU countries-Sweden is becoming the youngest Member State, which grants approval-regulation

The Krypto exchange Binance is now legally active in seven European countries after the recent approval by the Swedish financial supervisory authority. In total, Binance was approved for the company in 15 jurisdiction, including seven EU countries.

Binance approved for operation in 7 EU countries

The cryptocurrency exchange Binance announced on Thursday that its Swedish Binance Binance Nordics from "from the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Swedish FSA) received registration as a financial institution for administration and trading in virtual currencies". Binance explained:

Sweden is the seventh EU member state, in which Binance was granted approval, according to approvals in: France, Italy, Lithuania, Spain, Cyprus and Poland.

Per Nordkvist, deputy head of the banking department of the Swedish financial supervisory authority, told Reuters that the FSA registration it allows Binance to start a website in Swedish and to market its digital asset services directly to consumers in the Nordic country.

"Sweden takes over the EU laws completely and has further local requirements, so we carefully ensured that Binance took over Nordics from risks and AML [Anti-Money Lundering] guidelines that correspond to this demanding standard," said Roy van Krimpen, Head of Scandinavia and Bennelux from Binance. He further revealed:

Our next big task will be the successful migration and the start of local operations, including the attitude of local talents, the organization of more events and the provision of more crypto formation in Sweden.

Total Binance has received official permits or permits in 15 jurisdiction. Outside of Europe, the crypto exchange has received approval to offer services in Bahrain, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and South Africa. It also received the approval of the Astana International Financial Center in Kazakhstan, Abu Dhabi Global Market and the Dubai World Trade Center.

Binance said this week that this is the case joined The Association of Certified Sancialist (Acss), which is committed to improving the qualification of experts to comply with sanctions that are employed by global companies.
