The technology entrepreneur, philanthropic and co -founder of the multinational technologic Apple, Steve Wozniak, has Elon Musk, the billion dollar CEO of Tesla and also owner and CEO of Twitter, criticizes that he has not fulfilled the promise to launch self -driving cars.

wozniak bangs Musk on failed promise

In a recent interview with CNN, Steve Wozniak was asked about Elon Musk after his relationship, whereby the former replied that he had neither met the Tesla and Twitter boss. The Apple co-founder also praised Musk's efforts to promote the use of electric vehicles, however, criticized the failure of the CEO to provide self-driving cars.

Wozniak noticed that Musk initially promised to introduce a self-driving car by 2016, which prompted Wozniak to upgrade with $ 50,000 on his model. However, the car did not work as promised. Another model with eight cameras was advertised for self -driving at the end of 2017, which Wozniak also believed.

The tech mogul said, however, that none of the promises of reality comes close. Instead, the Apple co-founder said:

"If you want a study over AI have gone wrong and put up many claims and tries to kill you on every opportunity, it can get a Tesla."

When he was asked about Musk's management of the microblogging platform Twitter, Wozniak said that he had no opinion on this matter because he avoided social media.

The Tesla boss bought and took over Twitter in 2022 after an initial termination of the deal and a lawsuit. Musk's first campaign as a Twitter owner was the dismissal of CEO Parag Agrawal, together with some of the company's top executives. There were also reports that hundreds of Twitter employees wanted to leave the company after the billionaire had given the workers an ultimatum to register or go for longer working hours.

wozniak says he is not afraid of AI, demands regulation

In the meantime, Wozniak made it clear in the CNN interview that he was not worried or live in fear of AI, but said that it was important to make sure that the technology is not used negatively. In March 2023, the tech entrepreneur, together with Musk and other heavyweights in the technology area, signed an open letter to stop the development of AI systems that are more progressive than GPT-4 for six months.

Wozniak added that powerful technology could be both useful and harmful, but said that something as powerful as AI could be used by bad people for "really bad purposes".

The Apple co-founder also called for regulation that could ensure that companies have ethical concerns. However, the Apple co-founder admitted that global regulation was impossible.

While Wozniak has expressed his concern about the advent of more powerful technology tools, the philanthropic Bitcoin showered praise by describing it in 2021 as a "mathematical miracle" and putting the asset about gold. In a later interview in 2022, the engineer Bitcoin described the "only one who is pure gold mathematics".
