The decentralized financial platform AAVE (AAVE) has reached a remarkable milestone with its V3-literation on the Ethereum network. The platform was able to welcome over 10,000 clear addresses within just six months.

The introduction of the Aave V3 Ethereum market took place on January 27th and since then the platform has recorded enormous growth. According to data from the credit protocol, the V3 provision has so far attracted deposits of $ 2.24 billion and granted loans of $ 756.93 million.

The increase in the value of the blocked assets (TVL) on the platform is particularly impressive. The TVL has increased by 60 % since the introduction of V3. On January 1, the AAVE TVL was still $ 3.82 billion, while it was already $ 6.12 billion at the time of going to press.

The growing popularity of AAVE led to Makerdao overtaking as a defi protocol with the second largest TVL. However, Lido Finance continues with a TVL of $ 14.90 billion.

The success of Aave V3 on Ethereum is also reflected in the use of the WSEHT offer. With over 373,000 Wseth tokens worth $ 802.04 million, Wseth is the most frequently offered assets on the platform. Interestingly, only 9,720 Wseth tokens worth $ 20.84 million have been loaned.

growth and increasing user activity show that AAVE is on the right track to continue to play a leading role in the defi room. It remains to be seen how the platform will develop in the future and whether further milestones can be achieved.
