Aptos Labs and Universal: New Backlot Club inspires fans worldwide!

On October 15, 2025, an innovative partnership between Aptos Labs and Universal Destinations & Experiences was launched in New York. This collaboration introduced the “Backlot Club” platform, a web-based fan engagement platform built on the Aptos blockchain that aims to connect Universal fans across various destinations, events and digital collectibles. To ensure the integrity of the rewards, claims are verified and recorded on the Aptos blockchain.

In addition to Quests, Universal Destinations & Experiences will collaborate on the development of Watchee, a decentralized media operating system based on the Aptos blockchain.
