Walmart enables customers to buy <a class=Bitcoin in 200 shops" Loading = "Lazy">

The retail giant Walmart says that Bitcoin can now be bought in 200 of its shops in the USA. The cryptocurrency is offered via Coinstar kiosks in Walmart shops. Coinstar currently offers Bitcoin at more than 8,000 kiosks.

Bitcoin can now be bought in 200 Walmart shops in the USA, the company reported reportedly on Thursday. This is part of a pilot program with CoinStar that operates machines with which customers can exchange US coins for paper invoices or gift cards. The pilot project started at the beginning of this month, said Walmart spokeswoman Molly Blakeman.

In order to buy Bitcoin in participating walmart shops, customers have to visit a Coinstar Kiosk in Walmart.
