A survey showed that the Hungarians would like to learn more about the long -term investment opportunities for cryptocurrencies. However, the associated risks and inadequate information in the mother tongue are very concerned about the respondents.

In view of the increased global interest in cryptocurrencies in recent years, a new survey has measured exactly how Hungary follows the general trend, local media reported. The results of the survey carried out by the world's largest crypto exchange, Binance and the market research company Opinio were communicated to the Hungarian news agency MTI.The investigation showed that a majority of Hungary believe that crypto investments are still associated with above-average risks. Another problem you see is the lack of sufficient information in Hungarian about digital assets.
Those who are still suspicious of cryptocurrencies also emphasize their concerns about privacy and fear that they are not safe as a form of investment.

The authors of the study found that 86 % of the participants had never used cryptocurrency, while 4 % are considered to be casual users. Around 3 % consider crypto assets as an additional source of income and for 1 % cryptocurrency is the main source of income.
The survey also showed that even Hungary, who stay away from crypto-assets, know about Bitcoin. Among the cryptocurrency traders, 61 % stated that they prefer to buy Bitcoin ( bitcoin ), followed by investors in ethereum ( eth ), which made up for 45 % of the sample.
The representative online survey was carried out in the first half of December with 1,034 respondents between the ages of 18 and 59, which had a smartphone and, in addition to age, also included gender, education and place of residence.
