SEC examines coin base via crypto offers

- Coinbase announced in his quarterly report on Monday that it is examined by the supervisory authority for its listing process
- The investigation also searches for information on the Staking programs of Coinbase and for its earnings-generating products
The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has issued Coinbase for documents and information about its crypto products.
COINBASE (Coin), a listed company on the Nasdaq exchange, said on Monday that the SEC is looking for information about how to proceed in the listing of certain assets as well as your business and customer programs.
The investigation also searches for information about the Staking programs of Coinbase and about its earnings-generating products, according to a message from the stock exchange Report . Coindesk first reported the news.
It is the latest headache for the competitive stock exchange, which has strained several collecting lawsuits, including one in which it is claimed that it has allowed her US customers trade with non-registered securities.
The SEC also examines Coinbase in the same matter. In another matter, the supervisory authority also charged the former Coinbase product manager, Ishan Wahi, for insider trade.
A separate class action, submitted in June, Coinbase has not fulfilled his duty of care by listing the revised Terra Classic token on its platform and failing to disclose an alleged financial connection to Terraform Labs.
Despite a shaky year, Coinbase said in his report that it was of the opinion that the solution to its existing legal and regulatory problems in connection with the SEC would not affect its financial results, health or business. The company admitted that the developments could possibly have negative effects on the operating results.
A coin base spokesman did not immediately answer a request for comment.
The coin stocks fell by about 5 % in post-market trade on Monday after the winning report for the second quarter recorded a decline in trading fees by 35 % compared to the previous quarter.
The Coinbase shares were traded by more than 7 % higher to around $ 94.14 on Wednesday. Coin shares rose by 49 % in August, supported by the news of a partnership with the asset manager Blackrock.
