According to the protest, the El Salvador Court of Auditors checks a complaint about the purchase of Bitcoin Automats and the construction of kiosks by the Bukele regime. A document was observed by Reuters employees and the complaint was submitted by a human rights and transparency organization called Cristosal.
The complaint that Cristosal submitted to the Salvador Court of Auditors is directed against six board members of Bitcóin Trust. In addition, the complaint is also directed against the Salvadorian trade and investment secretariat and against members of the finance and Economic Ministry.
The Court of Auditors (COA) says that the complaint was received on September 10, five days before the protest and the ignited ATM. The COA can impose sanctions against Salvadorian government officials. The Salvadorian President Nayib Bukele was called a dictator and has already been examined.

The latest examination of the COA and Cristosal notes that an analysis of the Bitcoin situation will take place.
"After she has approved the complaint, she will create the legal analysis report and forward this report to General Audit Coordination," says the COA document tested by Reuters. The news agency stated that an unnamed source of Cristosal says that the complaint written to the COA was "accepted".
