The old coins also stalled during the day, while XRP has turned out to be one of the best performers in the last seven days.

Bitcoin boring at $ 27.5,000

In the past few weeks, a lot has happened in the cryptocurrency industry, and Bitcoin has now taken a break as expected.

The asset exploded from less than $ 2 $ 28,000 during the US banking crisis, which even expanded to Europe when UBS had to take over the Credit Suisse and crashed the German Bank shares. The most recent interest rate increase of the Fed on Wednesday brought more volatility at BTC, which gave up by $ 2,000 within hours.

The bulls came back almost immediately to play, and Bitcoin rose briefly to over $ 29,000 on Friday. After the cryptocurrency reached another 9-month high above this level, it fell back to less than $ 28,000, where it has stayed in the past few days.

Its market capitalization has remained below $ 540 billion, while its dominance over the old coins is still 46.2 %.

In view of the declining trade volumes in all charts, it can be expected that the old coins on a daily basis have remained relatively stable. After a slight increase of 1.3 %, Ethereum is traded at almost $ 1,800. Similar profits are obviously coindogecoin, Matic, Solana, Litecoin, Tron and Avalanche.
