MINING company Titan introduces Luminer to a project to commit the Hashpower from Bitcoin-Mining Bitcoin messages

On October 21, the Bitcoin mining pool operator Titan revealed a new decentralized hashpower routing protocol called Lumerin. The open source project aims to commercialize the Hashpower of Bitcoin "through intelligent contracts that make hashpower tradable".

The Bitcoin mining company Titan , a subsidiary of the company Bloq Inc., has announced its decentralized hashpower-routing protocol "Lumerin". Titan says that Bitcoin mining company "is usually concentrated in regions that offer cheap electricity, cheap regulation and stable infrastructure" and aims to solve centralization through software. The idea is to pick up the processing performance and security of Bitcoin through the use of intelligent contracts.

"The Luminer Protocol will enable companies and individuals to buy, sell and provide hashpower in order to achieve decentralization through open market dynamics," says Titan's announcement. "In addition, the Luminer Protocol will, by making Hashpower a transferable digital good, offering a basis for the financialization of hashpower and for lending, custody, OTC and trading services."

Titan was co-founded by the company of the company, Ryan Condron, the former Bitcoin nucleus developer Jeff Garzik and the founding partner of Tally Capital, Matthew Roszak. Condron says that Titan is a significant development in the Bitcoin mining area and also wants to work with industry leaders.

"The new brand Lumer and the clear definitions of solutions will support us to offer leading progress that support the Bitcoin mining ecosystem. Titan provides the Lumin-Open-Source project considerable developmental efforts and time and actively looking for strategic partners who have agreed to further develop this technology," remarked Condron.

While the other Titan activities are retained the Titan brand, the newly introduced open source project Lumerin will include different software solutions. The announcement describes that the project will set up a Lumin proxy node, a Lumin token and a Lumin wallet.

"As a result of these changes, we can now advance our vision of creating a trustworthy global peer-to-peer marketplace for Bitcoin mining and other proof-of-work-hashpower products," said Condron in a statement. "This will enable everyone to use the power of crypto through bitcoin mining in a decentralized manner," added the Titan CEO.
