Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft, has expressed his opinion on the meta -verse and the effects that the technology could have in the future. In a conversation with Klaus Schwab, the chairman of the World Economic Forum (WEF), Nadella explained that the feeling of presence that is achieved during interaction with meta-verse technology is "groundbreaking".

SATYA NADELLA, CEO of the technology giant Microsoft, has declared his support for the meta personation and cited his potential to bring people together compared to other less interactive technologies. In a talk of the World Economic Forum (WEF), which took place in Davos in 2023, Nadella praised the advantages that the use of this technology brings.

nadella explained:

For me, the most groundbreaking for this special technology is the feeling of presence that you have if you even interact virtually.

Nadella believes that Covid-19 has changed the environment in terms of meetings and forces people to use video calls for these purposes, but the implementation is a "very natural expansion of it". For him, this is the real influence that the meta personum and other technologies that are currently being developed can have today's society.

Microsoft, WEF and the metavers

It was recently that Microsoft was one of the partners of the WEF in the development of the Global Collaboration Village Replica of Davos in the meta persons. The aim of this digital world is to enable the organization to bring managers from all over the world together in order to be part of a constant conversation about guidelines and world issues. This would serve to make the meetings of Davos, which normally take place during a week, a constant event in the meta verse.

According to Schwab's statements, 70 or 80 companies are already behind this initiative, which is built up with MESH, a Metaverse component that works with teams, a team meeting application from Microsoft. Nadella was enthusiastic about the possibilities of this platform and said:

The use of this technology of the meta person and this immersive experience to bring the world together in order to have this feeling of community presence and cooperation is absolutely necessary.

Microsoft actively invested in meta-severse-related initiatives and postponed resources to link part of his tech stack to improve digital worlds. In October the company announced on the adaptation of its cloud platform for use in Meta-Verse applications.

In contrast to Nadella's views, Microsoft-Mitinigünder Bill Gates said in a recent reddit ask-me-anypede (AMA) meeting that he currently prefers the technology of artificial intelligence (AI) compared to web3 and meta-verse technologies.
